Established in 2016, Japan Karate-Do Keibukai India (JKKI) is affiliated with the esteemed Japan Karate-Do Keibukai (JKK) and the International Goju-Ryu Keibukai Karate-Do Association (IGKKA). Under the leadership of Shihan Shirish Kisan Talekar, a 6th Dan Black Belt certified by JKK-Japan, JKKI has expanded its presence across multiple Indian states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Odisha. Shihan Talekar, who serves as the President of the Goju-Ryu Keibukai Japan Karate-Do Association and the Karate-Do Association of Navi Mumbai, brings decades of experience and dedication to the art of karate. His contributions to martial arts in India have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Rashtriya EkatMatta Fellowship and the Maharashtra Ratna-Gaurav Purshkar.
Our students train under the guidance of highly qualified black belt instructors, including Shihan Shirish Kisan Talekar (6th Dan, Japan). With years of experience and international certifications, our instructors ensure each student receives personalized attention and professional mentorship.
With a strong presence across Maharashtra and other Indian states, JKKI has established a wide network of affiliated dojos. This enables us to reach and train karate enthusiasts from diverse regions, building a unified and disciplined karate community.
